Salters’ Den 2016

After the incredible launch of Salters’ Den last year, we are thrilled to announce the return of this fantastic competition for a second year for the Northwich area.

Salters’ Den was created last year following the huge success of the entrepreneurial business competition Dabbers’ Den in the South Cheshire area.  The competition is looking for an entrepreneur or new business start up in the Northwich area that is worthy of winning a prize of £2,500 and on-going expert advice. The competition will go live on 1st July 2016 giving entrepreneurs with a great new business or business idea the chance to submit their application.

Salters’ Den sees local businesses Howard Worth Chartered Accountants join forces once again with Mosshaselhurst Solicitors, Eric Johnson of Northwich Ltd and Natwest to form the business panel in the den.

The amazing prize for the winner is a £2,500 cash prize as well as one years free business advice and support from Howard Worth and legal mentoring from Mosshaselhurst. There are also rewards for second and third place. Second place will receive six months support and mentoring and third place three months.

The competition is open to any entrepreneur or new business started before the 1st of June 2015 in the Northwich and Winsford areas locating in post code areas CW7, CW8 and CW9.

If you have an innovative business idea or own a business that has been operating for less than a year, apply now for your chance to be a winner of the Salters’ Den competition. The judges will be inviting successful entrants into the Salters’ Den in November, where they will be holding panel interviews to determine the worthy winner of the 2016 competition.

We are hopeful that we can help a creative new business take its first steps to success, with a very useful cash injection and on-going expert advice.
